Pheasant tracks in the snow are a reminder of how difficult it can be for wildlife to live through a North Dakota winter. This winter, though, minimal snow cover has made access to food easier than usual for wildlife. Despite a recent period of extremely cold temperatures, this winter has been far better than most for wildlife.
