Kim Fundingsland/MDN This photograph of two snow geese was taken south of Lake Audubon on Dec. 26. Unlike Canada geese, snow geese generally do not stay in North Dakota during cold or snowy weather. These two snows could be late migrants or, possibly, too injured to take flight.
