Photo of the Week: Hiking the Badlands Submitted Photo Jon Mathistad, Minot, captured this image while taking part in an 18-mile hike in the North Unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park this past June. Hot, windy conditions, plus a limited water supply, made for some anxious moments. However, Mathistad still snapped this wonderful image that showcases the natural beauty of the Badlands.
