Wade Groves, Minot, drills a hole through the ice on Devils Lake in preparation for an afternoon of fishing.
“I live in North Dakota for a reason,” said Groves. “I have a lot of fun. We come to Devils Lake to try and get some of the big perch and big walleyes and big white bass. We’ve been catching a lot of fish, and a lot of small ones. The future of this lake is unbelievable.”
