The Minot Honeybees will host their inaugural 701 Community Night during the team’s final home game against The Grad Forks Spitfires.
Six local nonprofit leaders will compete head to head in challenges between the innings for the chance to earn thousands of dollars for their organizations.
The final competitor left standing will have the chance to win up to $5,000 in cash.
"701 Community Night is about using our final Honeybees game of the season to celebrate and give back to the organizations that make Minot a better place to live," said Monica Blake, General Manager and Managing Partner of the Minot Hot Tots and Honeybees in a statement released by the team. "Fans will have the opportunity to cheer on local nonprofit leaders, learn more about their work and help us generate a significant impact in just one night."
The event will be on Wednesday night, July 29, as the Honeybees wrap up their final home game of the season.
