Call for artists, cooks and gardeners
WILLISTON – The JMAC Art Fest 2015 will take place Saturday, Sept. 19, in Recreation Park, the 400 block of 2nd Avenue West in Williston. The day’s activities will start at 11 a.m. and conclude at 4 p.m. The live art auction starts at 1 p.m. This is an event to celebrate art, art education and food in a fun, family friendly way.
Artists, artisans, crafts people and folk artists of handmade items are invited to sell their wares. Please consider demonstrating your art to show visitors how you create your work. Call 774-3601 to receive information about a booth. Sell your homemade or homegrown edibles. Get a booth and sell treats or a much loved family recipe. Selling a simple treat is a great way for you or your organization to raise funds.
The James Memorial Art Center is looking for artists to donate a one-of-a-kind piece of art work working with this year’s theme “Put a Bird on It.” These pieces will be auctioned off during the live art auction with proceeds going to further building updates and improvements at the center. If you are interested in donating, call 774-3601 for all dates and information or email jmps@nemont.net.
Single vendor spaces include one table and two chairs for $30. A vendor space with an outdoor canopy included is $40. Canopies are available on a first come, first served basis. You are welcome to bring your own canopy.
