Broadway Pharmacy and owner Jodee Richeson have received the Rookie of the Year Award from Medicine Shoppe International Inc., a subsidiary of Cardinal Health Inc.
The award was presented at the annual Cardinal Health RBC Convention in Orlando, Florida. Broadway Pharmacy operates as a start-up location within the Medicap Pharmacy franchise network in Minot.
The recognition honors newly opened franchise locations for operational growth, financial management and community service. Since opening, the pharmacy has established local partnerships with medical providers and physician groups to expand care access, with a focus on elderly and vulnerable patient populations in the area.
Richeson, who serves as the pharmacy’s pharmacist-in-charge, was also cited for offering insurance consultation services to assist patients during Medicare open enrollment periods and collaborating with other franchise owners on operational practices.
