Bank hires senior mortgage loan officer
Gate City Bank has announced the hiring of Jalisa Tinnes as a Senior Mortgage Loan officer, serving customers in Minot and the surrounding communities. Working in the mortgage industry since 2022, she’s dedicated to putting customers at the forefront and guiding them with clarity and confidence through the homebuying process, according to Gate City Bank.
Originally from Custer, Washington, Tinnes earned her bachelor’s degree in finance and her Master of Science in management from Minot State University in 2016. Outside of work, she is actively involved in the community, serving as a WayFinder with the Minot Area Chamber EDC and a fundraising committee member and a Pen Pals volunteer with Companions for Children. She recently completed her term as Magic City Lions Club president.
For Tinnes, being part of Gate City Bank means living out its mission by providing a better way of life for every customer she serves. Of the bank’s Principles of High Standards, Customer Obsession is her favorite because she enjoys meeting new people, building relationships, and she believes the bank is more than just a place to do business.
“Customer service has changed in the last decade, and that’s where Gate City Bank truly stands out,” Tinnes said. “What others see as ‘above and beyond’ is simply our everyday standard.”
