Joe Devlin

Joe Devlin has joined Trinity Health as director of Health Information Management (HIM), bringing more than a decade of experience to his role, Trinity Health announced.

As HIM director, Devlin is responsible for managing the Health Information Management department, including facility and provider coding, clinical documentation and record storage, as well as ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding HIPAA and medical records.

“Health Information Management is foundational to how Trinity Health operates, from compliance to documentation to the integrity of our clinical data. Joe brings the depth of experience and leadership that will serve our Health Information Management department well, and we’re fortunate to have someone of his caliber joining our team,” said Trinity Chief Financial Officer Robin Nichols.

A native of Tacoma, Washington, Devlin most recently served as supervisor of Inpatient Coding at one of the Midwest’s largest academic medical centers prior to joining Trinity Health.
