Katie Tudahl, of Minot, a long-time consumer of Herbal Life energy and nutrition products, had been operating a booth rental business out of the Legion Hall in Berthold, offering her flavorful protein shakes and teas. Recently she found space on North Broadway at 118 8th Avenue NW and has been serving up a seasonal menu of protein shake meal replacements and tea bomb drinks.

Tudahl said she used to manage a gas station and has seen how the energy drinks have exploded over 10 years with the coolers going from being mostly full of soda to very little soda and huge amounts of different varieties of energy drinks. She said the energy drinks are not healthy, whereas the herbal life tea bombs contain vitamins and tea.

There are so many companies with protein and supplemental meal replacement products but Tudahl said she likes working with Herbal Life because it is backed by several doctors and has been around for decades. Herbal Life is referred to as a nutrition club. Tudahl personally has been using the products for more than 12 years.

Tudahl said she is working to create helpful recipes and custom plans for customers, serving as a meal replacement personal trainer. According to Tudahl, the teas are a great substitute for soda addiction with the largest size coming in at 30 calories for the 16-oz. iced juices.
