How joins NDSU Extension
Emily How hasw joined North Dakota State University Extension as the agriculture and natural resource and horticulture agent in Ward County.
She started Aug. 15 and works out of the Extension office in Minot.
How will work with research professionals, county residents and local leaders to provide science-informed education, collaboration and facilitation for agriculture and natural resources and horticulture programming in Ward County.
How grew up in Denton, Texas, and has experience working with Master Gardener groups as well as assisting multigenerational clientele. Emily’s mother and grandfather were both Extension agents.
How earned a master’s in Land Resources and Environmental Sciences from Montana State University and a bachelor’s in environmental sciences from Texas A&M University.
“I am excited to be a part of the NDSU Extension community,” says How. “I look forward to cultivating relationships with the Ward County community.”
