Linda Benson, Minot and rural Douglas, presided over the auxiliary meetings June 9-11 during the Dakota State Eagles Convention in Vermillion, S.D. The Dakota State (North and South Dakota) Aerie and Auxiliary belong to the Fraternal Order of Eagles, an international service organization.

During 2021-2022, Benson raised funds for her president’s project of Home on the Range’s canine program. Her secondary project was the North Dakota Center for Persons with Disabilities, a Center of Excellence on Minot State University’s campus. Melanie Moore, Minot, was named Dakota State Auxiliary mother.

Bev Alex, Minot, was re-elected as the auxiliary state treasurer. At the convention’s conclusion, as the outgoing auxiliary state president, Benson became the junior past state president.
