First International Bank and Trust announces promotions

First International Bank and Trust announced two recent promotions for its Minot area banking team: Brock DesLauriers to Minot president and Blair Slaughter to Retail Operations supervisor.

DesLauriers began working for FIBT in 2005 as a teller while attending college. Over the years he has been elevated from teller to credit analyst, personal banker, consumer lender, mortgage loan officer, commercial loan officer, and most recently as senior vice president/North Hill Branch manager. In his new role as Minot president, DesLauriers will oversee the entire Minot Lending Team, as well as the Minot Broadway, North Hill and Arrowhead offices.

A graduate of Bishop Ryan High School, DesLauriers attended Minot State University, earning a degree in accounting and finance. He is married and has two daughters.

Slaughter has worked at FIBT for the last eight years, holding numerous positions like teller and personal banker. Before her promotion, Slaughter was the Assistant Operations supervisor. In her new role, she will oversee the entire Minot Retail Banking Team at all Minot FIBT locations.

Slaughter is a native of Powers Lake and graduated from Minot State University in 2013 with a degree in finance and business management. She is married and has two daughters.
