Honors were made during the DakCU Summit awards banquet on May 11 in South Falls, South Dakota. State-level awards were judged by peers at the Minnesota Credit Union Network, Utah Credit Union League and the Cooperative Credit Union Association.

Town & Country received a first-place Desjardins Adult and Youth Financial Education Award in its category of $250 million to $1 billion in assets. The award recognizes credit unions’ efforts to teach personal finance concepts and skills to members and nonmembers. Town & Country won in the adult category.

Also among credit unions of $250 million or more in assets, the Minot credit union received a second-place Louise Herring Philosophy-in-Action Member Service Award, given for practical application of credit union philosophy within the actual operation of the credit union and to recognize programs and services that benefit membership.
