Odin Award winner donates to YMCA

First International Bank & Trust has announced that Senior Executive Vice President and Vice Chairman Blaine DesLauriers is the recipient of the 2021 Odin Award. Named after FIBT founder Odin Stenehjem, this award is given annually to their employee who best exemplifies the bank’s mission, vision and values.

“Winning the Odin Award has been the highlight of my banking career,” said DesLauriers, a 31-year employee of FIBT, “I am truly honored and humbled to receive this award from my peers. I have been blessed to work with many dedicated and talented team members over the years.”

DesLauriers, FIBT, and the Stenehjem family will be donating a grand total of $15,000 to the Minot Family YMCA.

“I have been involved with the YMCA for many years and have served on its board of directors since 1994. I’m extremely proud of the impact that Minot Family YMCA has on our community. The YMCA’s mission provides youth development and healthy living for all ages and physical abilities,” DesLauriers said.
