CARRINGTON — Mike Ostlie has been appointed director of North Dakota State University Carrington Research Extension Center.
Ostlie has been a research agronomist at CREC since 2012. His research program focused on novel approaches to improving crop management in the Great Plains for increased productivity in the region.
“I look forward to serving in this new role to foster innovative programming and research, build new relationships in the ag sector and increase our efforts to support our rural communities,” Ostlie said.
The CREC is one of seven RECs that are part of the North Dakota Agricultural Experiment Station.
