Aspire Credit Union has pledged $10,000 to the Magic City Discovery Center for its effort on the world-class discovery center under construction in Minot.

Aspire Credit Union has concentrated its donations on projects that are impactful and focus on elements that align with the mission and vision of the organization. In this case, the Magic City Discovery Center brings economic, cultural and community development to the forefront with its project and goals. Education is a strong value for the credit union.

Aspire Credit Union’s pledge was bolstered by the museum’s commitment to incorporating STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) education into as many exhibits as possible.

“The Magic City Discovery Center is going to be a great addition to the Minot community,” said Mindee Kohlman, CEO of Aspire Credit Union. “We foresee many members and staff bringing their children out to the center to learn and play.”

Aspire Credit Union, formerly Prairie Federal Credit Union, has served Minot-area communities since 1937. A nonprofit, member-owned financial institution, Aspire Credit Union serves Bottineau, McHenry, McLean, Mountrail, Renville and Ward Counties.

Starting at $2.99/week.
