First International Bank & Trust employees have donated $1,000 to Prairie Grit Adaptive Sports.

Employees from FIBT’s three Minot locations donated $20 per employee to wear jeans for a week and presented their gifts to Prairie Gift. Prairie Grit is a non-profit organization with the mission of providing sports and recreational opportunities for youth and adults living with physical and mental disabilities to enhance their quality of life.

Prairie Grit will be using these funds to help purchase an Action Trackchair. The Action Trackchair will enrich and improve participants’ quality of life by allowing them the freedom of mobility on all types of terrain. The Action Trackchair will open doors to additional sports and recreational opportunities provided by Prairie Grit and partnering organizations for those with disabilities including, but not limited to: hunting, fishing, hiking, archery and snow sports.

Starting at $2.99/week.
