Long-time Tioga banker to retire
TIOGA — David Grubb, president of The Bank of Tioga, a community bank located in Tioga and Crosby, has announced his retirement as of Dec. 31.
As part of this transition, Savanna Hendrickson will become president, effective Jan. 1. She graduated from University of North Dakota and most recently the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado program. Hendrickson joined the bank in 2015 and has served as credit analyst, senior credit analyst/credit operations manager and credit administrative officer, vice president and most recently senior vice president of community banking.
A Tioga native, Grubb graduated from Dickinson State College and joined The Bank of Tioga in 1982. He is a graduate of both North Dakota School of Banking and the University of Wisconsin’s Graduate School of Banking.
In his 39-year banking career, Grubb has served in numerous banking and management roles, including accounting, agricultural, commercial and consumer lending. Additionally, he has served on the bank’s Board of Directors for 30 years and as president for 18 years. He is a former board member of the North Dakota Banker’s Association.
Grubb has been actively involved in community service throughout his career. He served as chairman of the Tioga Fund Advisory Board for 26 years, chairman of the Tioga Farm Festival Committee for 16 years and the Tioga Medical Center Board for 12 years.
