John Zakian

John Zakian, Minot’s former resilience program manager, has accepted a position as associate vice president with GrantWorks, a Texas company that manages state and federal development programs.

Zakian said he anticipates working with entities seeking to apply for and manage economic development grants being made available through the federal CARES Act as well as serving clients in disaster grant compliance. He will be working from his home in New Bedford, Massachusetts, in taking on selected projects from GrantWorks and others.

Zakian said the GrantWorks position fits with his previously announced plan to retire to his Massachusetts home to do consulting.
