Steve Nannicelli has been hired as Chief Member Experience Officer for North Star Community Credit Union.

He comes to North Star with 20 years of experience in the financial industry, much of it within the credit union arena. In his position, Nannicelli will be continually providing and improving positive member and employee experiences at North Star.

“I’m thrilled to be part of an organization dedicated to improving the financial lives of our members and the communities we serve,” Nannicelli said.

He will be located at the Minot Air Force Base Member Service Center.

North Star Community Credit Union also announced the hiring of Sheila Melaas of Minot as Marketing Manager. She will be coordinating all aspects of North Star’s marketing, advertising, events, sponsorships and donations. With 20 years of experience in Marketing & Advertising Sales roles, Melaas is a valuable addition to the North Star team.

“I’m so excited to start this new journey in my career and to be a part of the growth and exciting new things happening at North Star Community Credit Union,” Melaas said. She will be located at the Minot Air Force Base Member Service Center.

Chad Peterson has joined the North Star Community Credit Union family as Vice President of Regional Member Experience which allows him to oversee the newest location in Devils Lake. Additionally, he supports the Member Service Centers in Maddock, Cavalier, Grafton and Tolna. He comes to North Star with a plethora of experience from fire fighter/EMT to financial services statewide.
