Agronomist joins Hefty Seed of Mohall

Ryan Ellsworth has joined Hefty Seed Co. of Mohall as an agronomist.

Ellsworth comes to Hefty with 21 years of local agronomy experience. A Maxbass native and a graduate of Newburg High School and Bismarck State College, Ellsworth lives on the family farm near Maxbass and serves as fire chief for the Westhope Volunteer Fire Department.

“We are excited to have Ryan and his agronomy knowledge as a part of our team,” said Hefty Mohall General Manger Charlie Adams. “Ryan is a local guy who is very service oriented, not only with his diverse agronomy background, but also with his commitment to the local community through volunteering. He is a natural fit for our team.”

Hefty Seed Co. has been in Mohall since 2009 and is a full service agronomy retail facility providing area farmers with seed, crop protection and fertility solutions.
