Minot, area airports receive federal grants
Minot and four area airports were awarded Airport Improvement Program entitlement grants by the Federal Aviation Administration.
Senators John Hoeven and Kevin Cramer announced the grant awards.
Airports awarded grants include:
– $2.066 million to Minot International Airport to reconstruct apron and taxiway pavement and provide additional aircraft parking.
– $661,500 to Rolla Municipal Airport to construct a hangar building for aircraft storage, maintenance or service.
– $455,000 to Tioga Municipal Airport to rehabilitate apron pavement and reconstruct taxiway.
– $342,000 to Washburn Municipal Airport to construct a fuel facility.
– $80,000 to Crosby Municipal Airport for runway, taxiway and apron pavement maintenance and sealing.
