Visit Minot has named Stephanie Schoenrock as executive director.

Schoenrock had been director of development and communication for the North Dakota State Fair for the past year. She has 20 years of experience in tourism and entertainment marketing. She spent 15 years with KK Bold, working with clients that included Visit Minot, Norsk Hostfest, the State Fair, Medora and entities in Seattle entertainment tourism.

“We are going to be taking a new approach to our business model,” said Schoenrock, who started with Visit Minot on Tuesday. She said she will be developing a strategic plan that the convention and visitors bureau plans to unveil next month as well as continuing the work on the Minot One Brand Campaign.
