MAB members come together for Make-A-Wish

The Minot Association of Builders partnered with the Make-A-Wish Foundation to make repairs to a playhouse that was granted to a child here in Minot. The playhouse needed a new solid base, repairs to the exterior, and a move to a new location in order to make sure it could stand up to the elements and be used to its full potential.

Volunteer hours, material donations, and much-needed equipment helped MAB members accomplish the project this summer.

The MAB wishes to thanks its member volunteers for their participation and some generous donations.

“We would like to recognize the individuals and businesses that helped make this project a success,” the organization said in a news release.

Businesses that donated materials: Strata Corporation, R&K Contracting, Craft Builders, Muus Lumber & Hardware, Lowes Garden Center, Dufner Construction. Volunteers included: Pat Bailey (Muus Lumber & Hardware), Pat Graner (Craft Builders), Chris Dahl (United Rentals), John Dufner (Dufner Construction), Lauri Hopwood (Dacotah Bank), Shane Lider (Minot Lumber and Hardware), Jessi Erdmann (First International Bank), Phil Risbrudt (R&K Contracting).
