Trinity Health names athletic trainer for Dakota College
Trinity Health Sports Medicine announced the addition of Carolyn Rygg to its team of certified athletic trainers. Rygg began her new duties at the Dakota College at Bottineau on July 1.
Originally from Mayville, Rygg attended the University of Mary, majoring in athletic training. She was also a graduate assistant in athletics for the Marauders for the 2018-19 school year after earning her Board of Certification credential.
“During my undergraduate career, I enjoyed working with collegiate athletes but always missed my small-town roots,” Rygg said. “My career plan was to work as an athletic trainer at a college in North Dakota, and possibly teach a class. Dakota College gave me all these opportunities.”
