Kuntz named United Community Bank President/CEO

United Community Bank announced Thursday that Bill Kuntz has been promoted to President/CEO and will be assuming

responsibility for all four United Community Bank locations – Drake, Minot, Leeds and Burlington.

Kuntz has been employed with UCB for 21 years with 20 of those years serving as Drake market president and on the UCB board of directors. He has played an integral role in the development of United Community Bank and this opportunity will allow him to share his experience with staff across all locations.

Kuntz was raised on a cattle ranch south of Towner and is a graduate of North Dakota State University where he received a bachelor’s degree in economics with a minor in business administration.

United Community Bank of North Dakota was founded in Leeds in 1912. It expanded to Drake and Burlington in 1994 and to Minot in 1996. The bank has approximately $358 million in assets.
