An annual festival full of music, food, games, and shopping, the Minot Festival on Main is considered fun for the whole family. This years festival is occurring on Saturday, Aug. 25, down on Main Street from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

To kick off the festival, Lois Zahn with Funtyme will be bringing in people for a Salute to the Military and presentation of the flags. It will start at 10 a.m. at the corner of First Avenue and Main Street. According to Zahn, this is the first time that they will be performing the Salute to the Military downtown.

The festival will be host to classic cars, different entertainment, and vendors. Those attending can walk down the streets of downtown to see all that is offered alongside the other downtown stores.
