The fourth-generation owners of Tollefson’s Retail Group are featured in the current issue of Family Business magazine as a “NextGen to Watch.”

Brandon Tollefson, Brent Tollefson, Emily (Tollefson) Mackner and husband John Mackner have taken over the 93-year-old family business. Tollefsons began in 1925 as a single furniture store and today has more than 200 employees in three states (North Dakota, Minnesota and Montana) and multiple locations.

Tollefson’s Retail Group encompasses four businesses: Slumberland Furniture, The Carpet Garage Flooring Center, Tollefson’s Carpetland and Tollefson’s Contract Flooring.
