Party City to open at Dakota Square Mall

Party City is set to open at Dakota Square Mall in late summer. The store fills an 8,300 square foot space located in an exterior space, near Ulta and Carters/OshKosh B’gosh. Party City not only sells party supplies but also provides costumes, holiday decorations, and more.

“We are very excited for the opening of Party City,” said Chuck Massey, general manager of Dakota Square Mall. “This addition fits nicely into Dakota Square’s plan to provide a mix of retail, entertainment, service, and dining options balanced by local, regional, and national brands. This will continue to help diversify the retailers that we offer.”

Party City is relocating to Dakota Square from a strip center in Minot. They pride themselves in being a permanent location for all costume and party needs year-round, unlike other temporary stores. Founded in 1986, Party City Corporation is one of the original specialty party retailers, and has grown into the largest chain of party stores in the United States. They specialize in party supplies and focus on Halloween as the single biggest party season.
