The deadline for the “Your Minot, Your Lyrics” Anthem Contest is coming up at midnight Monday, April 21. Writers, wordsmiths and poets with a deep connection to Minot, are invited to take part in the anthem poetry contest that will serve as the official poetic voice for Minot. Hair of the Dog event planned for May 17

A dog-friendly 5K run/walk for humans and a Weiner Dog Derby featuring racing Dachshunds and Dachshund mixes will be held Saturday, May 17, to raise awareness and benefit animal shelters and rescues in the Minot area. Art expo fundraiser to help Parkinson’s, mental health

What started as a conversation between two friends over coffee has now grown into a celebration of art, music and giving back. Be-the-cause-of-art celebrates giving back to those suffering with Parkinson’s and mental health illnesses. MSU Spring Honor Dance, Powwow annual celebration set

The Minot State University Native American Center and Club will host the 35th annual Spring Honor Dance & Powwow celebration on Friday, April 25, and Saturday, April 26, in the Minot State Dome, according to an MSU news release. Annual music event to rock community

The annual Community Rocks! is back for its 10th show since 2015, featuring the Community Rocks orchestra and guest singers. Hometown favorite Dakotah Faye will be among those to take the stage Saturday in the Clarion Coliseum in the Clarion Hotel & Convention Center. Community Rocks! combines the best rock ‘n roll from the 1950s to today, performed by the Community Rocks! Orchestra.
