Minot Parks to host Back to School Bash

Minot Parks invites families to celebrate the end of summer at the annual Back to School Bash on Thursday, Aug. 6, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

This year’s Back to School Bash will be held at the North Hill Sertoma Complex, rather than its traditional location on the east end of the South Hill SCHEELS Complex. The temporary location change is due to the ongoing construction associated with the installation of the new inclusive playground at the SCHEELS Complex.

Attendees can enjoy bounce houses, face painting, games, free lunch and a variety of activities for children and families. The event is free to attend and open to everyone in the community.

Joining the Back to School Bash once again is Fill the Bus. Attendees are encouraged to bring new school supplies to donate in support of local students.

The Back to School Bash is sponsored by Minot State University, which will be at the event with Minot State-themed activities for attendees of all ages.
