Voices of Note to hold spring concert

Minot choir Voices of Note will hold its spring concert on Sunday, May 17, at Zion Lutheran Church, Minot. The concert will start at 3 p.m., with a reception to follow. It is free and open to the public and a free will offering will be taken.
The choir started in 1989 and performs an array of music including sacred, secular, traditional and contemporary songs. This concert will include songs such as, “Alleluia,” “Your Song,” “Cry me a River” and “The Glory of Love.” Featured solo vocalists will include Tammy Doerr, Cheryl Nilsen and Monica Padett. Jolie DeVries and Michelle Thomas will provide instrumental accompaniment.
In anticipation of Syttende Mai, Norway’s Constitution Day on Sunday, May 17, Nilsen will perform the Norwegian song, “Den store hvide Flok.”
