Nathan Beitler/MDN Blizzard warnings didn’t stop the Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) Holiday Train from rolling across the state and making stops in Minot and area communities Thursday, Dec. 18. A now annual event, the brightly lit train raises donations to help feed those in need in the local communities. Since its inception in 1999, the Holiday Train, touring Canada and the U.S., has raised more than $26.1 million and 5.4 million pounds of food for community food banks, according to CPKC information.
