DUNSEITH – The International Peace Garden will host a Santa event Saturday, Dec. 6, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
The holiday event will feature hands-on craft activities for children, cookie decorating, an artisan market with baked goods and hand-crafted items, and coffee and treats, and more, according to Peace Garden information.
“This event is becoming a family tradition,” said CEO Tim Chapman. “Parents love to have the kids take pictures with Santa every year.”
He also said, “It’s a great way to get everyone into the holiday spirit.”
The Conservatory, featuring a collection of cacti and succulents from around the world, will be open during that time.
Nestled in the Turtle Mountains, the International Peace Garden is a nonprofit organization committed to advocating for peace. It is described as a celebration of peace and a living monument to the ideals of friendship and cooperation among nations.
