Voices of Note to present fall concert Sunday in Minot

Voices of Note Women’s Chorus will present its Fall Concert on Sunday, Nov. 2, at 3 p.m. at Immanuel Baptist Church, 1615 2nd St. SE in Minot.

The free concert will feature a variety of selections, including “America the Beautiful,” “Listen to the Music,” “You’ve Got a Friend,” and “Dancing Queen.” Soloists scheduled to perform include Kristin Allan, Sarah Puetz, Monica Padgett, Holly Sailer, Karl Andersen, Shelley Norton, Val Heller, Pat Marquardt and Martha Fix.

Flutist Jonelle Watson also will be featured.

The concert is free and open to the public. A freewill offering will be taken.

Voices of Note has been part of the Minot community for more than 35 years. The group’s 30 members represent a wide range of occupations and perform fall, Christmas, and spring concerts each year, along with community appearances such as Arts in the Park and Handel’s “Messiah.” The chorus also performs at assisted living centers and is available for other events.
