DRAKE – The 57th annual Drake Threshing Show will be held this weekend with parades, tractor and pickup pulls and other events at the Drake threshing grounds.

The show opens at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 6, with a breakfast. Lunch will be served from 11 a.m.-4 p.m., and a vendor show will run from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday’s schedule also includes tractor games at 10 a.m., parade at noon, kiddie pedal tractor pull at 1:30 p.m., adult games at 2:30 p.m., bingo at 3 p.m. and full-size tractor pull plus pickup pull at 4 p.m.

Sunday’s schedule on Sept. 7, adds a church service at 10:30 a.m., and the start of the tractor and pickup pull will be at 3 p.m.

There also will be a sawmill demonstration, working blacksmith, steam and gas powered tractor threshing, plowing demonstration, prony brake, tractor-powered corn shelling, shingle mill, music, fry bread and homemade ice cream.

Allis-Chalmers will be the featured equipment.
