Minot Symphony to host Centennial Soiree
The Minot Symphony Orchestra invites the community to celebrate 100 years of symphonic music at the Centennial Soiree on Saturday, Aug. 23 at the Regency Event Center in downtown Minot. The evening will begin with a social at 5 p.m., followed by dinner and a program at 6 p.m.
Guests are asked to dress to impress, black tie is encouraged. Attendees will enjoy a gourmet dinner and musical performances.
Throughout the evening, guests will be treated to live performances by four ensembles featuring Minot Symphony musicians including Magic City String Quartet, The SubZero Winds, Luminous and The Pocket Protectors (Jazz/Funk Fusion)
“This celebration marks not only a major milestone for the Minot Symphony Orchestra, but also honors the musicians, patrons, and community who have supported us through a century of music,” Ellen Fenner, executive director. “It’s going to be an unforgettable evening of good food, friendship, and of course, great music.”
