State Fair cornhole contestants test skills
Audin Rhodes/MDN Competitors stick out the heat in the first annual North Dakota State Fair Cornhole Championships held on Thursday in the West Park of the fairgrounds. At stake was a cash prize pot as well as championship plaques.
- Audin Rhodes/MDN Cornhole, also known as bag toss, is a yard game in which teams take turns throwing small bags filled with dried corn across the yard at an inclined board. The goal is to have the bag make it into the hole of the board. This is the first year of the North Dakota State Fair Cornhole Championship competition held on Thursday in the West Park of the fairgrounds.
