Minot Parks to host Cardboard Bobsled Race
Minot Parks will hold the Cardboard Bobsled Race on Friday, April 12, starting at 6 p.m. at the Maysa Arena’s Pepsi Rink.
Community youth are being invited to showcase their creativity and racing skills with homemade cardboard bobsleds. There will be prizes and the opportunity to earn the title of the fastest bobsled in the West.
Categories will include:
– 4th to 7th graders
– 8th to 12th graders
Each team will consist of a pilot and two pushers.
An award will be presented for the best design and theme.
All participants must wear clean athletic shoes and helmets while on the ice.
