Brass band of Minot to hold patriotic concert Sunday

The Brass Band of Minot’s 2023-2024 starts on Sunday with a concert, “A Fall Patriotic Concert,” at 4 p.m. at Minot State University’s Ann Nicole Nelson Hall.

The concert will feature a special guest artist and former band member Nathan Wilson. The band is directed by Wayne Schempp and consists of brass and percussion players from Minot and other communities in northwest North Dakota who share a love of brass band music.

Concerts are free and open to the public. Cash and check donations are welcome.

The band’s 2023-2024 season will continue with concerts on Nov. 19, Feb. 4, 2024, and March 24, 2024.
