Food and Fun Festival kicks off Thursday
The Food and Fun festival at the Spot in Minot is set for the first three days of June and will be teaming up with the Rescue Games to raise funds for local spay and neuter procedures for local rescues.
The festival will feature pool, cornhole and dart tournaments, axe throwing, along with food trucks, desserts, refreshments and live music. A $5 entry fee covers all three days of the festival and those aged 15 years and younger are free. The festival’s hours are from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, 11 a.m.-8 p.m. on Friday, and 11 a.m.-8 p.m. on Saturday. The participating rescues include Prairie to the Peaks Animal Assistance Foundation, Hairball Haven, Kruse’s Critters, For Belle’s Sake and the Animal Empowerment League.
