FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH and Whiskey Myers will perform at the 2023 North Dakota State Fair. Whiskey Myers will hit the stage on Thursday, July 27, and FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH will appear on Friday, July 28.

The NDSF will be held July 21-29 in Minot. The NDSF will release more grandstand acts in the following weeks. Previously announced was grandstand performer Eric Church.

“FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH is a huge rock band and we are so excited to have them in our grandstand for the first time ever,” said Renae Korslien, NDSF general manager. “When we started discussing Whiskey Myers, my boys got me hooked on the show “Yellowstone,” and from the very first season I heard Whiskey Myers on that show. I started seeing more and more talk about them and their great music. We are so excited to bring in these big-name acts that we just could not wait to share the news with the public.”

FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH have amassed 28 top 10 hit singles and 14 #1 singles. Having become one of the most recognizable names in music, 5FDP frequently play all major festivals and sell out arenas around the world. Since their debut album, “The Way of the Fist,” came out in 2007, the band has released eight consecutive albums, seven of which were certified Gold or Platinum by the RIAA, as well as two chart-topping Greatest Hits albums. In addition, 5FDP has earned numerous national and international awards and honors over the last decade, such as the prestigious Soldier Appreciation Award by the Association of The United States Army, an honor bestowed only upon Elvis Presley before them.

Whiskey Myers has played more than 3,000 live shows to ever-increasing crowd sizes since its emergence in 2007. The band’s latest self-produced album, “Tornillo,” out now on the band’s own Wiggy Thump Records, features the No. 17 most-played Americana song of 2022, “John Wayne,” and follows their fifth studio album, “WHISKEY MYERS,” which debuted at No. 1 on both the Country and Americana/Folk sales charts, at No. 2 on the Rock chart and No. 6 on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart. In total, Whiskey Myers has sold more than 1.5 million albums and amassed over 2 billion streams while earning six RIAA Gold & Platinum certifications as an independent band.
