Roosevelt Park Zoo in Minot is taking measures to protect its bird exhibits from the bird flu.

“We will be pulling the chickens off exhibit but just covering the tops of the eagle, owl, and ground hornbill exhibits with tarps to prevent any potential issues from droppings as migratory waterfowl pass through the area,” said Jeff Bullock, zoo director.
