The Flying Farmer to perform again
MAKOTI — Plaza-area stuntman John Smith, also known as The Flying Farmer, will be demonstrating his aerial talents this Saturday.
The Flying Farmer has been challenged to a distance jump by his son Brian. Both will be driving Chevy Caprices. Smith said he hopes to break the 200-foot mark.
The jump will take place at 4 p.m. The location is two miles west and two miles north of the Makoti Cenex C-store on N.D. Highway 23.
There will be a $10 per person gate fee for the public.
Smith’s last jump was in 2016 when he soared over towering flames to successfully clear a burning trailer. He had been in a 13-year retirement before taking on that challenge nearly five years ago.
