The fourth annual North Dakota Human Rights Arts Festival will be held June 10 through July 15 in downtown Minot.

There will be a reception on June 10 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Taube Museum of Art. The Taube will host an exhibition that features the work of 52 different artists from around the world, each addressing human rights, civil rights, or a social justice issue. The Taube will host this exhibit for the second consecutive year. The festival and reception are free and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided. The project is supported in part by a grant from the North Dakota Council on the Arts, which receives funding from the state Legislature and the National Endowment for the Arts.

In tandem with this event, Minot Area Council of the Arts will host Arts in the City. Thursdays Downtown get started at 5:30 p.m. every Thursday with arts and crafts vendors, bounce houses, and food trucks. A featured concert begins at 7 p.m. on the corner of Main Street and Central Avenue.

Vanity Plate will be the band performing on June 10.
