MAKOTI – The 119th Annual Hiddenwood Old Settlers Picnic will be held Sunday, June 20. All events will take place beside historic Hiddenwood Lake, eight miles south of Makoti on County Road 9.

An all-faith church service will start the day at 11 a.m. A noon lunch of burgers, brats or hot dogs, chips and other dishes will be available for purchase or bring your own lunch. Coffee, water or lemonade will be provided as well as plates and eating utensils.

The afternoon will start with a program. Talent is welcome on stage, too. After the program, pie and ice cream can be purchased. Throughout the day there will be door prizes drawn for those registered and in attendance. All of these activities will be held in the pavillion on site.

Foot races and games for the kids and young at heart will fill the day. All are welcome to come and enjoy the day.
