GRIT coming to Oak Park Theater

GRIT, a half-hour video, is coming to the big screen in Minot. The event is a fundraiser for Prairie Grit Adaptive Sports.

“We filmed Prairie Grit last year and made it into a half-hour video,” said Aaron Esquibel, Minot. “It’ll be shown Thursday, May 20 at Oak Park Theater. The doors will open at 6:30 and the movie starts at 7.”

Esquibel shot video and edited GRIT. GRIT follows 3 adaptive athletes in their 2020 hunting season. A promotion for the film says viewers will “experience the highs and lows of a great season and enjoy the experiences along the way.”

All proceeds from the screening will be donated to Prairie Grit Adaptive Sports to help with expenses related to the organization’s outdoor activities. Tickets will be available at the door or in advance at www.eventbrite.com.
