The board of the Brass Band of Minot has decided to cancel the band’s 2020-2021 season though there may be hope for a special concert in the spring should conditions improve enough to allow it.

COVID-19 protections have left the band without a rehearsal space, and a number of band members are particularly vulnerable to the virus.

The Brass Band of Minot has been playing since 1994, and this is the band’s first missed season.

The band’s board hopes to use the hiatus to improve the band’s web presence and to prepare for a successful 2021-2022 season.
