Grandparents and grandkids being honored tonight during Dakota Cruisers’ cruise

Grandparents and grandkids will be honored tonight when the Dakota Cruisers Car Club holds its weekly cruise on Broadway in Minot tonight.

George Masters, Dakota Cruisers president, said these are the people who “step up when needed by their families.” He urged kids, grandkids and others to line Broadway for the cruise to honor grandparents.

Vehicles will line up in the Kmart parking lot at 6 p.m. and leave to cruise Broadway at 6:30 p.m.

In recent weeks the Dakota Cruisers organization has been honoring various designated groups during its weekly cruises on Broadway.

Last weekend the group honored frontline workers. Masters said “just over 200 cars, trucks and motorcycles were there for the cruise.”

New and old vehicles are welcome to take part in the cruises.
